Fast Weight Loss Tips: A Reason Unhealthy Food Tastes Better and Why You Eat Too Much On Autopilot!

A fast weight loss tip I can give you is that if you know what's going on, you will be aware of why your eating habits are the way they are and can thus stop yourself eating on autopilot!
Have you noticed how food and food preparation is becoming more of a pastime than a means of survival? We are surrounded by advertisements bombarding us to eat more of the wrong things, and cooking shows that add more and more calories into dishes to make them more delicious and appealing.

Why do we eat? We eat to fuel our bodies. Our bodies are designed to eat to SURVIVE! We are not designed to eat for pleasure. In this current world, we actually eat more than we have to in order to survive because we are subconsciously programmed by the clever marketers and food companies to eat more, thus making their pockets fatter and our waistlines bigger. This in turn benefits weight loss companies as they will take a portion of your pay check giving you all kinds of advice on how to lose weight!

Making extravagant dishes that take hours to prepare is just asking for trouble. Again, nature provides us with the foods that are necessary to survive in its raw form. Nature knows what's best for us to survive on. So when we take these foods, and add them to each other and add creams and sauces to make them taste better and so on, you can see how the calories just pile up so easy! So how come the unhealthy foods seem to taste better than healthy foods? I mean the body knows this so why does it seem to tempt you to eat the wrong foods that lead to weight gain? My theory is this. The body looks for instant gratification! It knows that from eating those wrong foods, it's going to get what it needs VERY quickly. It doesn't consider the long-term. We are programmed for instant gratification on many things. Would you like me to give you $5 now and that's it, or can you wait 4 weeks and I'll give you $20! If you were struggling for money right there and then, you'd take the $5. Just like the stomach, when it needs a sugar hit for instance, it prefers to get it asap, as compared to eating something healthy which will give the sugar release, but over a longer period of time!

The rawer and less prepared the food or dish, the better it is for your waistline and general health overall. And all food you can come to enjoy once you develop a taste for it! If you've never eaten healthy or avoided certain foods because you don't like them, give them another try to preserve for some time with them. Over time you will come to enjoy them.
