Quickly following the abdominoplasty, there is to be no heavy lifting (which is to say, anything over 5 pounds). You aren't to be bending twisting, running, or doing anything which will exert too much by way of energy. Prepare to be a lazy version of yourself for a bit! There will be plenty of resting and sleeping in your near future.

You are probably going to feel extremely exhausted when you first return home from the hospital. Get as much sleep as you are able to. You need it to start the process of recovery following a tummy tuck. When you do drop off, you will probably find it more comfy to sleep on your back, with one or two pillows behind your head to prop you up. If you don't like to sleep on your back or if you don't find this a comfortable position, try sleeping on your side. Finding The Right SURGEON

Before choosing to have abdominoplasty you have to find a professional surgeon. One who is board authorized. Be distrustful of any doctor who identifies him or herself as simply "board certified." All certification boards aren't the same; you have to understand exactly what the "board documentation" means.
