Watching athletics is not only admirable but also interesting. Athletics is a single sport that is composed of different events. This type of sport involves less team work but more of individualism which is not the case in many other type of sports. It is very rewarding especially for the winners. Triathlon is a type of competition in which three events are performed. These events are swimming, cycling and running. Triathlon Training gives the participant the required skills, energy and the experience in order to win the race.

The initial event performed during the competition is swimming. It is mainly done in open waters like the lakes and the rivers. These are usually deep and therefore good skills are very important. The swim suits are the best type of clothing to put in during the sport so as to ensure one tolerates the varying temperatures. They help and contribute greatly to the buoyancy and therefore one can float with fewer difficulties.

The cycling forms the longest sport compared to the others. This means that enough preparation is required to make the feet endure the fatigue. Before commencing always ensure that the bicycle is set in the correct manner and it is mechanically prepared. The pedals that are clip less are the best ones, so as to ensure fast cycling. Always remember to carry drinking water with you.

In many cases the running part in most cases determines the winner of this type of the game. It is usually done lastly when many are exhausted after both swimming and the cycling. When commencing to train develop the speed with which you are comfortable throughout the distance. Having done that then you can start trying to increase the speed. It is also very important to observe the diet carefully during the training period.

At times one is required to run long distances therefore enough training helps the muscle to develop the required power. This helps one run long distances without getting tired easily. With this kind of experience one is likely to win the race. Training also increases the muscle concentration within the body. This make one develop resistance to injuries because the high density formed within the body protects the weaker parts of the body including the joints.

The training helps one develop the right posture which is mandatory for a good performance. This is brought about as a result of good form of the muscles. When a lot of training is done, there are too many fibers that develop. They reduce the time needed for the muscle to be broken down a condition that leads to fatigue.

Enough preparation for the race also increases the efficiency during the performance. This in turn results to excellent results that are good to talk about. There is the equipment that one is required to be equipped with before the day for completion. Some of these are, swimming suit, goggles, a bicycle, cycling short, water bottle, clip less pedals and good pair of running shoes.

When preparing the training schedule remember to include the resting period. This is because no matter how much training is required one needs to rest to allow the body performs other important functions. Once all the training is done and the date is approaching, then one ought to prepare mentally.
